HELLO FRIENDS AND FAMILY DAVE EDWARDS and the band - Louie Abraham, Rusty Russum & Jim Megerian - are back & rocking - hold on tight!!! During the down time Dave recorded an original holiday song entitled "IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME" for the upcoming CHRISTMAS IN DETROIT VOLUME 3 CD being put together by the team at Harmonie Park Studios. The CD proceeds go to Mitch Albom's S.A.Y. Detroit charity. The session featured Steve Kohn, Jimmie Bones & Bob Montleleone (who wrote the song and produced the session along with Dave's manager Jeff Amato & Dave Edwards). "Its Christmas Time" will be mixed by Mark Pastoria. Additonally, Dave guested on Tino Gross & The Howling Diablos "Christmas In Detroit" contribution singing back up vocals with Jimmie Bones & Johnny Bee. The funk was alive and ripping through the motor city that day people - "Detroit Style". Look for this fantastic Holiday collection to be avaIlable around Thanksgiving! As we go into the next round of shows with Dave and the band - you all are in for a treat. The band has rehearsed the rest of the Lone Survivor CD and you will soon hear How Long, Come Clean & Lowdown in the mix along with the material you have heard and rocked out to so far. We also shot the concert that Dave and the band did when they opened for RANDY BACHMAN - so keep your eyes peeled - we will be invading YouTube soon!
