Be Good To Yourself is one of the best from Frankie Miller. Dave recut it during the Pickin' Singles sessions. You're gonna hear the pedal steel a little louder in this mix. The guy on Pedal Steel is our pal Larry LeBeck who is now in The Orbitsuns! Larry also plays on "CAN'T THINK RIGHT" that was re-recorded for PICKIN' SINGLES! He's got that "lonesome" sound.
The acoustics are a little more prominent too! This was our stab at a country mix - and it's quite cool too. Dave just finally stopped us all from fooling around and said LOUDER electrics and let this thing rock. At the time, I thought it was time to show off the country element of Dave's thing - cause really, had he gone to Nashville before the gold rush (as they say) - I think he would have been great in that genre. Oh well - like Dave said: Let it rock!
